4. We do not guarantee that any specific size or quantity will be in stock at every location at every time.

All orders placed through mypropanetank.com are subject to acceptance and verification by us. We may cancel or refuse any order for reasons including but not limited to suspected fraud, inaccurate information, or inability to fulfill the order safely.

• Exchange cylinders are inspected for visible defects before handoff, but you are responsible for a final visual check before accepting the tank

Where a cylinder deposit or tank fee is charged, it reflects the value of the physical cylinder, separate from the propane it contains. Depending on your order type:

1. Tank purchase: you own the cylinder outright once paid in full, and are responsible for its maintenance, recertification, and safe disposal.
2. Tank exchange: ownership of the empty cylinder you hand over transfers to us, and ownership of the filled replacement cylinder transfers to you, at the moment of exchange.
3. Loaner or rental cylinders (where offered) remain our property at all times and must be returned in the condition received, ordinary wear excepted.

Propane is flammable and must be transported, stored, and used in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT and NFPA 58 standards. By accepting a cylinder from us, you agree to:

• Transport cylinders upright, secured, and in a well-ventilated part of your vehicle (never in a sealed trunk for extended periods)
• Store cylinders outdoors, away from ignition sources, building openings, and direct extreme heat
• Use only appliances and connections rated for the cylinder's pressure and valve type
• Never attempt to repair, modify, or refill a cylinder yourself outside of an authorized facility
• Stop using and immediately report any cylinder showing signs of damage, leakage (rotten-egg odor), rust-through, or valve failure

If you smell gas or suspect a leak, move to fresh air immediately, avoid any source of ignition including light switches, and contact your local fire department or gas utility's emergency line before contacting us.

Refunds, returns, exchanges, and cancellations are governed by our dedicated Refund & Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You agree not to:
