At My Propane Tank LLC, we are committed to providing transparent, fair, and compliant return guidelines. Because propane tanks are regulated safety equipment, all returns must meet federal transport regulations and our internal quality standards.

1. Return Eligibility

Customers may request a return within 28 calendar days of delivery.

To qualify, the product must be:

  • Unused and in original, undamaged condition

  • In original packaging

  • Completely empty, sealed, and safe for transport

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation)

Non-Returnable Items

  • Used propane tanks or tanks that have been filled

  • Custom or built-to-order units

  • Clearance or discounted items

  • Opened accessories or installed components

These restrictions exist due to hazardous material transport regulations and product safety requirements.

2. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return:

Email info@mypropanetank.com within the 28-day return window and include:

  • Order number

  • Reason for return

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging (if applicable)

If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) and detailed return instructions.
Returns sent without prior authorization cannot be accepted.

3. Return Shipping

  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to verified seller error.

  • All returned tanks must comply with hazmat shipping requirements, including being empty and sealed.

  • We strongly recommend using a trackable freight carrier.

Items returned used, damaged, or improperly shipped may be rejected and returned at the customer’s expense.

4. Refund Processing

Once the return is received and inspected, you will be notified of approval or denial.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing time is typically 7–11 business days

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our verified error

5. Restocking Fee

No restocking fee applies.

If the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or verified defect), no additional charges will apply.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide photos clearly showing the issue

After verification, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost.
